The Bridge is an early literacy and language assessment framework

The DWS is a 14-point ordinal scale that defines qualitative advances in levels of a learning progression for beginning writing from scribbling to cohesive (linguistically connected) and coherent (on an identifiable topic) paragraph-level writing. Used as a formative and summative assessment, it provides refined developmental levels that allow teachers to measure small amounts of progress.

The Dynamic AAC Goals Grid-2 provide a systematic means to assess (and reassess) an individual’s current skills in AAC and to assist partners in developing a comprehensive, long-reaching plan for enhancing the AAC user’s communicative independence.
